Rays Employee Volunteer Programs

Each Rays employee is allotted one paid workday per month to volunteer their time in the community. On top of the one work-day allotted, employees are welcome to participate in weekly, monthly and quarterly volunteer programs organized by the organization.

  • ECOT – see under ECOT
  • Weekly Volunteer Projects
    • BBBS Employee Mentors – see under BBBS Employee Mentors
    • Meals on Wheels – each week Rays employees take to the streets to deliver meals to elderly citizens in the community.
  • Monthly Volunteer Projects
    • Ronald McDonald House – each month a team of Rays employees plan, shop and prepare a meal for the children and families residing in the Ronald McDonald House in St. Petersburg. Ronald McDonald House hosts families of children receiving treatment for life threatening illnesses.
  • Quarterly Volunteer Project
    • Four times a year Rays employees participate in a blood drive at Tropicana Field to help save lives.
